The company has teamed up with fashion editor of the Times of London, Lisa Armstrong, to create the bag which is being auctioned in aid of CLIC Sargent, a London-based charity benefiting children with cancer. The bag is inspired by the silhouette of the Eole bag but has two separate compartments trimmed in purple leather. The bag also includes a passport cover, cashmere eyeshades and a blanket, a computer case, a transparent toiletries kit, a foldable jewelry kit, a laundry pouch and an evening leather clutch. Bidding ends December 18th.

I like this bag, but it is one of those rare occasions where the back side looks better than the front. The silver-tone hardware looks sharp against the turquoise leather, but the abundance of leather fobs hanging around is distracting. There is lots of storage in the front zippered pockets and an interior zip pocket, and the wide strap is adjustable canvas. The other side of the bag is plain and simple - just a large expanse of pretty turquoise leather. The bag opens with a zip top and features black canvas lining. Measurements: 15½" W x 15 ½" H x 6½" D. $1405.

The Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is offering a Christmas suite that is decorated with a small tree with diamonds. The package also includes a bath with fresh roses, vintage champagne, and a breakfast with truffles. The package comes with limo service, a spa treatment and a gourmet dinner that is served in the dining room of the presidential suite. Much of the money you spend you get to take home with you, in the form of diamond jewelry worth around $108,000.

I have no idea who Stan Winston is but I think I'm in love. Celebrity Big Time Listings picked up on the Wall Street Journal's Private Properties piece (no link online yet) on Winston's Malibu beach house which is listed at $11.95 million. Turns out Winston is an esteemed makeup and special effects artist who has nabbed himself four Oscars in the course of his long career and he has created one stunning Malibu getaway. The home website calls it the Perfect Beach House. They aren't kidding although this home doesn't really have a beach house vibe. This home is drop-dead, smack-yourself-in-the-face gorgeous. The art in the place
doesn't exactly give me the warm fuzzies but everything else is so spot on. I could even learn to love the rather institutional second bathroom. The home is cheek by jowl with other homes clustered on the beach and you don't get a pool, just a secluded outdoor hot tub which offers privacy but not much of a view.

Seaton Surf Candles

Seaton Surf, surveyors of casual beach chic clothing, have come up with a new candle collection to put you in a seaside mood. The candles , which were featured in December's Vogue magazine, come in scents named for exotic locales such as Bali and the Maldives. Unfortunately the website, doesn't give us any info on scent but the candles sell for $45.
